Grey water to Green landscape workshop Nov 2013
We began with a lawn. So often it begins with a lawn. Actually we began with a lawn and an idea. Our host wanted to conserve water, and was attracted to the idea of using greywater in her yard. So we got rid of the lawn. Before the workshop. And then put in two fruit trees, three blueberry bushes and some raised beds. And sent the greywater to an existing lemon tree too. Six volunteers, three family members and two instructors made it all happen. In the end, the trees and shrubs were flourishing on washer water.
