Stormwater management through curb cuts: treating street run off as a resource, not a nuisance.
We will share our experience and knowledge about how to direct stormwater into our parkways and into planted areas in parking lots to utilize this underused resource. Bring your ideas and examples of what you've done or seen along these lines.
Learn about the development of curb cutting practices in other communities, including neighboring municipalities in southern CA.
Let's talk about how we as landscape professionals and community members can work with local government to promote and implement this practice that helps us make the best use of the rainwater we are getting this winter and beyond.
